Problem and solution
Moving data is a business process, not just copying records.
Data from Excel spreadsheets, CSV and XML files, SQL databases or older applications often differs in structure, reference data and quality. Without clear mapping rules, an import can create duplicates, miss relationships or transfer values that look valid but make no business sense.
I prepare enova365 imports, exports and migrations with checks for required fields, formats, relationships and processing order. For recurring work, I build a process that can run on a schedule, with an operation log and a report of records that need review.
I can handle a one-time data load, a migration from a legacy system, regular exports for a partner or data exchange as part of a larger integration.
Scope of work
Controlled data flow into and out of enova365.
I choose the technology based on the source, frequency, volume and how the results can be verified.
- 01
File imports
XML, CSV, XLSX and other agreed formats, with validation of structure and values.
- 02
Exports and data packages
Data for accounting, partners, data warehouses, industry applications and reporting processes.
- 03
System migrations
Analysis of the old data model, reference data mapping, migration order and consistency checks afterward.
- 04
Automation and error reports
Schedules, file archiving, duplicate prevention and a clear list of rejected records.
How we work
From assessment to a controlled rollout.
- 01
Assessment
I review a data sample, field descriptions, business rules and the expected result in enova365.
- 02
Development
I prepare the mapping and a test version of the process, then report data exceptions for review.
- 03
Verification
Together, we check record counts and data quality before the production migration or scheduled launch.
Frequently asked questions
What to know before we start.
Can you import data directly from Excel?
Yes. The spreadsheet needs an agreed structure, and its values must be validated and mapped. For recurring imports, the process should also guard against changed columns and duplicates.
Do you handle one-time migrations?
Yes. A one-time migration can include data transformation, a trial run, a differences report and the final transfer.
How can we confirm that all data was transferred?
I define measurable checks: record counts, control totals, key relationships and representative business samples. We compare the results before closing the migration.
